This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 or 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Aylesbury. You could be earning up to £26 per hour in Band 6 or up to £29.50 per hour in Band 7 on a full-time basis. The contract duration is to be confirmed, offering flexibility in this pivotal role.

What you will do:
- Deliver a quality needs-led service as part of the multi-disciplinary team. This includes flexible working across a 7-day week on a shift rota between 8 am and 8 pm, as well as participating in on-call cover.
- Provide prompt psychosocial assessment and treatment to children and adolescents requiring short-term support, helping avoid hospital admissions.
- Contribute to the development of flexible emergency and crisis response processes.
- Act as Clinical Care Coordinator for an agreed caseload, managing CPA, crisis, and risk assessments.
- Implement and coordinate a range of evidence-based interventions for young people and their families/carers.
- Establish strong working networks with various agencies including the police, addiction services, adoption services, YOS, and voluntary sector providers.
- Contribute to multi-agency care packages and manage high-risk cases.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date, and accurate records.
- Engage in reflecting on your practice through regular clinical supervision.
- Participate in service provision meetings and liaise with the Operational Lead and Deputy.
- Support and supervise junior staff and mentor students.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of post-registration experience and recent team lead experience.
- Proficient in systems such as Moving & Handling, BLS, and SystmOne.
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing and NMC Registration required.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
