What you will do:

- Manage a diverse caseload of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive the support and care they deserve.
- Coordinate and oversee statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the young individuals in your care.
- Draft, amend, and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure they address and support the identified needs.
- Keep assessments and annual reviews on track by completing them within statutory timescales, ensuring a smooth process for all involved.
- Be the go-to point of contact for families, schools, colleges, and professionals, offering guidance and support.
- Work collectively with educational psychologists, social workers, health professionals, speech and language therapists, and other agencies to provide a comprehensive support network.
- Participate in annual reviews, emergency reviews, and person-centred planning meetings, being an integral part of the decision-making process.
- Monitor and assess the quality and effectiveness of EHCPs and associated provisions to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015 for best practice in SEND support.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records, producing reports as required to aid in effective communication and planning.
