What you will do:
- Develop, implement, and manage an effective Section 106 and CIL payment monitoring system.
- Lead the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, producing insightful reports for stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate proposals for S106 funding and present them to the S106 Sub-Committee for decision-making.
- Act as the lead professional expert within the council for S106 and CIL, serving as the main contact for all stakeholders and partners.
- Oversee the implementation of the council’s S106/CIL system to ensure the efficient processing, collection, and distribution of funds.
- Conduct accurate reviews of data, maintaining it in the relevant databases to ensure timely financial records in partnership with the Finance team.
- Lead the S106 Officer Working Group to draft and present detailed reports on potential projects for funding.
- Manage invoicing processes and debt recovery efforts with the legal team, ensuring monitoring triggers for payments are effectively tracked.
- Take a leading role in the review and improvement of S106 processes and support the production and publication of the annual Infrastructure Funding Statement.
- Maintain up-to-date records of viability assessments in development proposals and respond to enquiries, including Freedom of Information requests.
