Looking for a dynamic interim opportunity? Dive into a role as a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse within the Psychiatric Liaison Service at the Longley Centre in Sheffield. This locum position extends for 3 months, offering flexibility with predominantly night shifts from 19:00 to 08:10, complemented by some twilight shifts between 14:00 and 00:00. You will work a maximum of 37.5 hours per week, available across any day as this is a 24/7 service. Our competitive compensation offers £26 per hour for day shifts, £33 for nights and Saturdays, and an impressive £40 for Sundays/Bank Holidays. What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, liaising effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings.
- Manage and prioritise caseloads efficiently, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and risk management plans for all patients.
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide consultation and mental health training to acute hospital staff, enhancing integrated approaches to patient care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.

Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
