An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Recovery Workers to join dedicated substance misuse services across Tamworth and Stafford. Offering a competitive hourly rate of £21, these full-time positions provide the chance to support individuals on their recovery journey through a three-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Role Responsibilities

Provide harm reduction advice relating to safer drug use, overdose prevention, and blood-borne virus risk reduction.

Act as a key worker, managing a full caseload and conducting comprehensive assessments and care plans.

Assist nurse prescribers during prescribing clinics and deliver structured psychosocial interventions.

Facilitate group sessions and provide needle exchange services to promote safe practices.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to address safeguarding, mental health needs, and risk management.

Support service users through all stages of the recovery process, including transitioning from maintenance to abstinence-based treatment where appropriate.
