We are currently seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join our vibrant substance misuse services team in Cambridge, earning £23 per hour on an umbrella basis. This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week over a 3- to 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. What you will do:

- Provide keyworking support to individuals with substance misuse issues, ensuring tailored and effective recovery plans
- Manage a busy caseload, using your expertise in harm reduction and recovery models to deliver outstanding care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive services and interventions
- Conduct one-on-one and group sessions to support clients in their recovery journey
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with service standards

Requirements:

- Current DBS on the update service
- Proven experience working with substance misuse, focusing on drugs and alcohol
- Strong skills in caseload management and client keyworking
- Comprehensive understanding of harm reduction strategies and recovery models
