What you will do:
- Provide one-to-one housing advice and interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Conduct comprehensive housing needs assessments and develop personalised support plans.
- Collaborate effectively with local authorities, landlords, and other stakeholders to secure sustainable accommodation for clients.
- Facilitate a seamless transition for individuals pre and post-release from custody, thereby helping to reduce the risk of reoffending.
- Offer expert guidance on housing legislation and welfare benefits to support vulnerable adults.
Candidates we seek have:
- Experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention, or tenancy sustainment.
- In-depth knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefits.
- A background in supporting vulnerable individuals or those with complex needs.
- Strong skills in partnership working and case management.
- A genuine interest in empowering people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Active prison clearance is preferred but not essential for this role, with a commitment to working approximately 35 hours per week.
