Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join a specialist support service based in Lancaster. This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a passionate recovery professional who is committed to supporting individuals affected by substance misuse and helping them achieve positive, independent lives.
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions for service users throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key worker and care coordinator for a caseload of service users, providing ongoing support throughout their recovery journey.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, screening, risk assessments, and recovery plans.
- Develop personalised support plans using a strengths-based and person-centred approach.
- Support individuals to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm and improve health and wellbeing.
- Provide advocacy and support access to appropriate partnership services.
- Coordinate referrals and work collaboratively with health services, mental health teams, criminal justice agencies, and community organisations.
- Support service users to access education, employment, housing, and community-based opportunities.
- Deliver recovery-focused interventions including one-to-one support, group work, and harm reduction advice.
- Promote peer support, resilience, independence, and social reintegration.
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and service user information in line with confidentiality requirements.
- Support safeguarding procedures and contribute to effective risk management.
Applicant Requirements:
- Previous experience working within drug and alcohol services, substance misuse support, recovery services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of recovery-focused approaches and harm reduction.
- Experience completing assessments, support plans, and risk management plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality requirements.
- Good IT skills with experience maintaining accurate records.
