What you will do:
- Lead the quality assurance of practices across Children’s Social Care (CSC) to ensure a high standard of service.
- Support multi-agency safeguarding partnerships in audit, learning, and development, ensuring effective collaboration and responsiveness.
- Report audit findings to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Scrutinise and challenge partners to ensure timely and effective responses to children's needs.
- Drive practice standards and contribute to the development of safeguarding strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Chair Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Children reviews, ensuring meetings are conducted effectively.
- Monitor the implementation of safeguarding recommendations and use escalation processes to address any practice concerns.
- Provide expert advice on Safeguarding and Looked After Children issues across departments.
- Work with children and young people to advance participation agendas, ensuring their voices are heard in the safeguarding process.
