This opportunity has been specifically designed for Psychology graduates who are considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching, or SEN Support.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve success within the classroom.

Your Responsibilities
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
- Help students develop emotional regulation and social skills
- Support learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Work closely with teachers to implement support plans
- Monitor student progress and wellbeing
- Build positive and trusting relationships with vulnerable learners
Who We're Looking For
The ideal Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant will possess:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Psychology
- A genuine interest in SEN and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Resilience, patience, and a proactive mindset
- Ambitions to pursue a career in psychology, therapy, teaching, or education
Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential.
