Location: Chiswick, London
Contract: 12 Months minimum (potential 2/2.5 years of work)
Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home (occasional trips overseas to Ghana)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Requirements: Oil & Gas industry experience and worked on Multiphase Pump Projects
Job Purpose
The Project Management Contractor will support the delivery of the Subsea Multiphase Pump (MPP) Project, providing project management support across a range of key project functions, including:
- Project Controls (Cost & Schedule)
- Document Control
- Risk Management
- Interface Management
- Project Reporting
The successful candidate will deputise for the Project Manager when required and, as part of a small owner's team, will help drive contractor performance while supporting the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project reporting, planning, and cost management activities.
- Develop scopes of work, review contractor proposals, and monitor contractor deliverables.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering reviews, constructability workshops, and safety studies.
- Direct and assure the quality of contractor work to ensure compliance with EHS, technical, operational, and project requirements.
- Ensure effective information management and document control processes are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project interfaces, particularly between multiple contractors working on the project.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the project risk register.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices.
- Deputise for the Project Manager as required.
Education & Experience
Essential
- Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in offshore oil & gas project engineering and project management.
- Experience working on deepwater projects across all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with oil & gas operators.

Desirable
- Experience working with engineering and EPC contractors.
- Technical foundation in an engineering discipline, progressing into broader project engineering and project management roles.
