Production Operative in Nantwich, North West

KPI Recruiting are on the look our for a Production Operative for our client based in Nantwich.

As a Production Operative your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday
• Monday- Thursday 08:00- 17:00
• Friday 08:00- 15:55

The rate of pay as a Production Operative is:

• £12.71 p/h

Key Responsibilities as a Production Operative:

• Manufacture bespoke timber pallets, wire-bound containers, and export cases to customer specifications.
• Interpret and work from CAD designs and technical drawings.
• Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, safely and efficiently.
• Use air-powered nail guns and a variety of handheld tools to assemble wooden cases and crates.
• Carry out manual assembly of bespoke timber packaging products.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Follow all health and safety procedures within the manufacturing environment.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.

Essential Requirements as a Production Operative:

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural location and lack of public transport).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or woodworking environment is desirable.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
