Counterbalance Flt Driver in Nantwich, North West

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Counterbalance FLT Driver for our client based in Nantwich.

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver your working days and hours are:

• Monday- Friday
• Monday- Thursday 08:00- 17:00
• Friday 08:00- 15:55

The rate of pay as a Counterbalance FLT Driver is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Counterbalance FLT Driver are:

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move palletised goods and garden furniture
• Load and unload vehicles using the FLT
• Transport stock between warehouse locations and storage areas
• Stack and store pallets safely and accurately
• Handle a variety of garden furniture products, ensuring care is taken to prevent damage
• Carry out daily pre-use checks on the forklift truck and report any defects
• Assist with stock movements, picking, and general warehouse duties as required
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
• Comply with all company policies and Health & Safety procedures

Requirements needed as a Counterbalance FLT Driver are:

• Hold a valid ITSSAR or RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate
• Certificate must be within three years of the original pass date
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Experience handling palletised goods
• Ability to work safely with large, bulky items such as garden furniture
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience working with outdoor or garden products
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Additional FLT licences (e.g. Reach Truck)
• Flexible approach to overtime and shift work
