Job Details:

• Pay: £14 per hour (Weekly Attendance Bonus Available)
• Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30 & Fridays 7.45 – 12.45 (38 hours per week)
• Duration: Temp To Perm

Job Role: As a Production Operative (Metal Work), you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of metal components used within the construction sector. The Production Operative (Metal Work) role involves cleaning, prepping, and shot blasting materials prior to applying wet spray paint finishes. You will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials safely around site and support other departments where required. This Production Operative (Metal Work) position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment handling items of varying sizes and specifications.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Production Operative (Metal Work) or similar role involving wet spray painting
• Proven experience in cleaning, preparing, and shot blasting metal components prior to painting
• Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment spraying various sizes and shapes of products
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (in-house or expired licences may be considered)

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Spray Painting or similar
