Are you an inspiring Primary School Teacher looking for a role where you can truly shape young minds during the most formative years of their education?

KPI Education is partnering with outstanding primary schools across Leeds and West Yorkshire to recruit enthusiastic, dedicated Primary Teachers for permanent, full-time positions starting September 2026. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher stepping into your first classroom, or an experienced primary practitioner ready for a fresh start, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Primary School Teacher, you'll take ownership of your own class across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, delivering engaging, creative lessons across the full primary curriculum. You'll build strong, nurturing relationships with your pupils, track their progress, and work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child in your care reaches their potential.

No two days in primary teaching are the same — and that's exactly what makes it so rewarding.

  • Salary on MPS/UPS £32,916 – £49,084 depending on experience
  • Roles available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a range of school settings
  • Warm, welcoming school communities with strong pastoral cultures and supportive leadership
  • Structured induction for ECTs and ongoing CPD for all staff
  • Clear progression pathways — including Phase Leader, Subject Lead, and senior leadership opportunities
  • A genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and work-life balance
  • Schools matched to your preferred location across Leeds and West Yorkshire

Who We're Looking For

  • A qualified Teacher with QTS (or on track to achieve QTS by September 2026)
  • A degree in Education or any subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Experience teaching or working with primary-aged children, whether through placements, supply, or previous roles
  • A creative, energetic approach to lesson planning and classroom management
  • Strong knowledge of the primary national curriculum and current best practice in primary pedagogy
  • A genuine passion for nurturing children's curiosity, confidence, and love of learning
  • Excellent communication skills — able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues alike
  • Committed, professional, and ready to be an active member of the school community
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
