Occupational Therapist - Paediatric SEMH Team in Stapleford UK earning up to £35 per hour depending on experience on an hourly basis. What you will do:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services within a paediatric SEMH setting.
  • Engage with children who are neurodivergent or have learning difficulties, utilising your skills to support their socio-emotional and mental health needs.
  • Apply your sound knowledge of occupational therapy theory to practice, promoting independence among service users.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-professional teams to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Prepare well-structured and clear reports on patients’ progress and recommendations.
  • Seize the opportunity for further training in Sensory Integration to enhance your skill set.
  • Travel to various locations as required, given the nature of a mobile work environment that benefits from being a car driver and holder of a clean licence.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Valid HCPC registration.
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Experience working within paediatric SEMH settings or with neurodivergent children and young people.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy theory and practice.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
