What you will do:
- Supervise and support team members by conducting inductions, monitoring productivity, and assisting with formal management processes.
- Ensure compliance with Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) processes by supporting the Team Manager to follow policy, guidance, and legislation.
- Maintain accurate case recording and client information, ensuring records meet required standards and link to performance indicators.
- Investigate complaints within delegated authority by handling inquiries from councillors, MPs, and the public in line with procedures.
- Identify staff training needs and support professional development, ensuring high standards of practice and managing staff performance.
- Support safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring services meet safeguarding requirements and providing expertise to enquiries.
Requirements of the OT Assistant Team Manager:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with NHS exposure.
- Registration with the HCPC.
