Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care

Working Arrangements: Hybrid, approximately two office days per week

What you will do

• Conduct moving and handling assessments and complex risk assessments to support client safety and independence.

• Provide and manage hoists, stand aids, and other specialist equipment to best support the individuals in your care.

• Empower adults to live independently by applying your advanced occupational therapy skills and knowledge.

• Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014, Manual Handling Operations Regulations (MHOR), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).

Requirements

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Strong experience in adult social care, particularly in moving and handling and equipment assessments.

• Ability to apply specialist knowledge in a dynamic and collaborative working environment.
