Our client is looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson to carry out planned maintenance, void works and property refurbishments within domestic social housing properties.

This varied role will involve bathroom and kitchen renewals alongside general property repairs. Applicants should be confident working across several trades, including tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, drylining and screeding.

About the company

Our client is an established contractor specialising in the social housing and insurance sector. The company provides high-quality void works, planned maintenance and refurbishment services to domestic properties throughout Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join their supportive team.

Key responsibilities

As a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, your duties will include:

• Completing general property repairs and planned maintenance
• Carrying out full bathroom refurbishments and renewals
• Supporting kitchen renewal and refurbishment projects
• Undertaking tiling, plumbing and joinery work
• Completing drylining, plastering, screeding and associated finishing work
• Diagnosing maintenance issues and identifying appropriate repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Completing assigned work within the agreed timescales
• Communicating professionally with residents, clients and colleagues
• Maintaining excellent customer service while working in occupied properties

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in a similar multi-trade, property maintenance or refurbishment role
• Practical skills across several trades, including tiling, plumbing and joinery
• Experience completing full bathroom refurbishments
• The ability to produce consistently high-quality work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, professional and respectful approach
• The ability to manage your workload and work independently
• A full UK driving licence

Plastering experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Experience working within social housing, void properties, planned maintenance or domestic refurbishment would also be beneficial.
