Maintenance Technician in Telford, West Midlands

For the successful Maintenance Technician our client is offering;

• Salary of up to £35,280.18 (This is inclusive of shift allowance)
• Double Days shift pattern of 6am-2pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays and 2pm-10pm Mon to Thursday and 1pm-8pm on Fridays, rotating weekly

The Role of the Maintenance Technician;

• Maintain all production equipment to provide optimum functionality
• Urgently attend breakdowns and diagnose and repair equipment using the appropriate equipment & tools
• Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks
• Escalate any issues where necessary
• Working closely with Production staff ensuring line productivity performance, reduced error counts, line cycle time/quality is within standard
• Fault finding
• Carrying out continuous improvement activities - IE Investigation, proposing and implementation of improvements / ideas
• Working in line with the company budget
• Reporting into the Senior Engineer
• Carrying out modifications where necessary

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Technician;

• Mechanical / Electrical experience - Multi skilled
• Strong interest in Engineering
• Basic electrical fault finding
• Basic hand tool/machinery skills
• HNC / HND / ONC / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum in Engineering - ESSENTIAL
