The Role: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established hotel in Belfast, ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of all building systems and facilities.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on leadership role, overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities while delivering a high standard of service that supports both guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
• Collaborate and support the maintenance team and external contractors
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including statutory checks and record-keeping
• Carry out hands-on maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general fabric repairs
• Monitor maintenance budgets, stock, and procurement of materials
• Support ongoing refurbishment projects and capital works
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimise disruption to guests

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong technical knowledge across building services (electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in a trade discipline)
• Sound understanding of health & safety compliance and statutory requirements
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
