It Digital Adoption & Enablement Lead in Warrington, Cheshire

Our Client has a requirement for an IT Digital Adoption & Enablement Lead, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington (hybrid), until December 2026.

Role Purpose:

  • Ensure IT tools, services, and platforms are effectively adopted, understood, and embedded across the organisation
  • Act as a bridge between IT, the business, and end users
  • Deliver measurable value through training, knowledge sharing, communication, and productivity improvements rather than infrastructure delivery


Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an IT adoption strategy to maximise usage of tools and services
  • Identify gaps in user adoption and experience, working with stakeholders to understand needs and address barriers
  • Drive behaviour change to improve day-to-day use of IT systems
  • Design and deliver structured training and enablement programmes, including:
  • Instructor-led sessions
  • Workshops (e.g. automation, Copilot, M365 tools)
  • Self-service learning content
  • Build capability across end users and Service Desk (L1/L2), supporting structured training initiatives
  • Lead adoption of automation solutions across the Service Desk, promoting productivity, accuracy, and efficiency gains
  • Partner with automation teams to identify use cases, support rollout, and deliver training and awareness
  • Identify and promote productivity improvements, automation opportunities, and smarter ways of working
  • Own and develop the IT SharePoint / IT Hub as a central knowledge and enablement platform
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles, how-to guides, and short-form training content
  • Develop a Service Desk governance framework and support IT communications, including newsletters and adoption campaigns
  • Engage stakeholders across the business to gather feedback, promote tools, and drive adoption through:
    • Drop-in sessions
    • Champion networks
    • Feedback loops
  • Define and track adoption KPIs (training participation, tool usage, automation benefits)
  • Use insights to refine training, improve user experience, and identify further improvement opportunities
  • Continuously evolve enablement strategies based on user needs

 

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Experience in IT Service Delivery, ITSM, or Business Change
  • Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge (SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Platform)
  • Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Chatbots)
  • Experience designing and delivering training or enablement programmes
  • Experience creating digital learning content (guides, videos, training materials)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, practical user guidance

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of digital adoption frameworks
  • Understanding of ITIL or Service Management practices
  • Experience in complex or regulated environments (e.g. international, engineering, government-adjacent)
  • Experience measuring adoption and engagement using analytics or feedback tools
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL, PRINCE2)
