Shape the future of a growing HR Operations team and drive excellence across the Southern region!

Our Client has a requirement for an HR Advisor, who will be required to work on a 3 month contract basis in London, on a hybrid basis, with travel to external sites in the South.

Role Purpose:

  • Support the business through a period of transformation and growth by providing expert HR guidance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex general HR matters and company policy inquiries.
  • Lead and manage a heavy workload of Employee Relations (ER) cases.
  • Partner with managers in the Southern region to ensure consistent and effective people management.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide all employee relations cases, providing expert advice on policy and case matters.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Coach, train, and develop line managers to improve leadership capability.
  • Support all operational HR aspects of the employment lifecycle across various projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support resource planning processes, including mobilisation and right-sizing.
  • Facilitate the transfer of talent, encouraging career development and succession planning.
  • Support learning and development initiatives and ensure effective deployment of central HR policies.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as an HR/ER Advisor.
  • Demonstrable experience managing ER activities (capability, absence, disciplinary, grievances, and restructuring).
  • Up-to-date knowledge and proven application of UK employment legislation.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of planning and organisational skills with the ability to work proactively.
  • Previous experience working in a multi-site environment (Desirable).
  • Associate CIPD/Level 5 qualification, or working towards Level 7 (Desirable).
