More Than Classroom Support

From your first term, you'll become an active member of the school community.

You could spend the morning supporting lessons within your specialist department before delivering an intervention to pupils who need additional academic support. Later, you might lead a GCSE revision group, work individually with a pupil or support students with SEND.

You'll also help create resources, monitor progress and become involved in enrichment, revision sessions and wider school activities.

As your confidence develops, so can your responsibilities, giving you an invaluable insight into what life as a teacher is really like.
