The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across a range of subjects while working closely with experienced educators.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group academic support to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Supporting students with varying abilities, including those requiring additional help.
• Helping to raise attainment and improve student confidence.
• Contributing to lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This role offers a structured introduction to teaching and is excellent preparation for a PGCE or teacher training programme.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for graduates who:

• Hold a 2:1 degree or above from a Russell Group university
• Demonstrate strong academic ability and a passion for education.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are proactive, professional, and enthusiastic.
• Are considering a career in teaching or education.
• Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
