Location: Hackney – Primary Schools
Role: Monday to Friday | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Salary: Up to £550 per week

We are working with a number of vibrant and inclusive primary schools across Hackney who are currently seeking Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis.
The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to help pupils progress across the curriculum.
You will play an important role in building pupils’ confidence, supporting individual learning needs, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.
This role is particularly well suited to aspiring Primary Teachers, Educational Psychologists, or Child Psychologists who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience before progressing onto a PGCE or further professional training.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
- A degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, Early Years, or Social Sciences are desirable but not essential)
- A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning and development
- Strong communication skills with a patient, empathetic approach
- Professional, proactive, and committed to making a difference
- Must have the right to work in the UK
