General Operative in Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a General Operative to work in their leading facility in Wolverhampton.

For the successful General Operative our client is offering:

• Competitive starting rate paying up to £13.50 (£27,378)
• Days - 7am - 4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
• Permanent Position within a thriving company
• Salary reviews
• 25 days + bank holidays
• Regular Overtime opportunities paid at time & a half after 39 hours are completed 
• Free on site parking
• Opportunities to learn new skills as training will be involved

The Role - General Operative:

• Ensuring that shopfloor is clean, safe & tidy
• Assembly
• Packing of items 
• Storing tools away
• General housekeeping 
• Bringing kits out for the team on the shopfloor
• Helping out in various sections of the shopfloor
• Reporting into the Production Manager

What our client is looking for in a General Operative:

• Able to use hand & power tools
• Must be very flexible to perform various duties around the shopfloor
• Must be punctual & reliable
• Demonstrate experience in a engineering/mechanics/manufacturing based environment with an understanding of the importance of safety in the workplace
