General Manager - F&b With Rooms in Brighton, South East

GENERAL MANAGER – F&B WITH ROOMS

BRIGHTON AREA

£60,000 + TRONC + BONUS

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to take on a sizeable, established hospitality business around the Brighton area. This is a busy operation with a strong F&B trade alongside rooms, and we need someone who can genuinely balance the commercial side of running a large business with being visible and present on the floor.

THE ROLE

• You will have full ownership of the business, leading an established management team and taking responsibility for both the operational and commercial performance of the site.
• Commercially, you need to be strong. You will have full P&L accountability and be confident working with budgets, EBITDA, margins, labour and L4L sales. You need to understand exactly what is happening within your business, identify opportunities and know how to improve performance.
• People development is equally important. You will be responsible for developing the management team, building succession and creating a strong culture across the operation.
• This is still very much a hands-on hospitality role. We need someone who enjoys being visible, understands what is happening on the floor and is comfortable being part of service.

THE PERSON

• We are looking for an established General Manager with experience running a sizeable, high-volume hospitality operation.
• Rooms experience is essential, alongside a strong F&B background. You could come from a premium restaurant, pub with rooms or a strong branded hospitality business.
• You will need to have operated at scale, understand the commercial accountability that comes with running a large business and be confident managing both the numbers and the people.
• You will be a strong, engaging leader who can develop a team, drive performance and take real ownership of the operation.
