What you will do:

• Oversee fostering cases, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children under your supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive Form F assessments, contributing to the matching of foster children with appropriate homes.
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to provide a cohesive support network for foster families.
• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation of cases, reports, and assessments.
• Engage in regular team meetings to align goals and share best practices within fostering services.

Essential skills and experience required:

• Prior experience in fostering services is essential, particularly in conducting Form F assessments.
• You must be equipped to supply information supporting Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's commitment to fraud prevention, processed by Internal Audit and potentially shared with the National Fraud Initiative for data matching.
