Facilities Manager in Bristol, South West
UK working eligibility only.
Regular travel required across the region, including monthly visits to additional office locations

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of facilities services across a busy corporate environment. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring workplaces remain safe, compliant, efficient, and provide an excellent experience for employees and visitors.
You will act as the primary point of contact for workplace operations, managing suppliers, contractors, facilities services, and site-based support teams while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across multiple office locations.
- Act as the key contact for building management, contractors, and service providers.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, compliance activities, and service delivery.
- Oversee workplace services including cleaning, reception, mail handling, meeting room management, and general office operations.
- Maintain high workplace standards and ensure a positive employee experience.
- Build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders, responding to workplace queries and feedback.
- Partner with business leaders on workplace-related matters and attend leadership and HSE meetings as required.
- Proactively identify and resolve facilities issues before they impact operations.
- Support health, safety, environmental, security, induction, and access control requirements.
- Process facilities-related invoices and purchase requests, supporting budget management.
- Maintain accurate facilities data, reporting, and utilisation records.
- Monitor supplier performance and address service delivery issues promptly.
- Support workplace moves, changes, and small-scale projects.
- Manage and coordinate site-based Facilities Support staff.
- Communicate facility updates and operational information to office employees.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Facilities Management, Workplace Operations, or a similar site-based role.
- Proven experience managing day-to-day facilities services and site responsibilities independently.
- Experience within a corporate or multi-service workplace environment is highly desirable.
- Strong supplier and contractor management experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong focus on service excellence and workplace standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business systems for reporting and administration.
- Relevant Facilities Management qualification (e.g. IWFM) would be advantageous.
