What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people to understand and identify learning, developmental, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Provide expert psychological advice and evidence-based interventions to support educational and wellbeing achievements.
- Collaborate effectively with schools, parents or carers, and multi-agency professionals, including social care and health services, to create a cohesive support network.
- Offer support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, contributing to Education, Health and Care needs assessments where necessary.
- Prepare clear and actionable psychological assessment reports and recommendations for schools, local authorities, and families.
- Deliver engaging training and consultation to education professionals and other stakeholders, fostering greater understanding and care.
- Advocate for inclusive practice and support schools in developing effective strategies for learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
- Maintain precise records and adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, professional, and ethical standards.
- Stay informed on legislation, research, and best practices through proactive Continuing Professional Development.
