Job Title: Band 7 Acute Paediatric and Neonatal Speech and Language Therapist

Salary: Up to £32.26 per hour
Contract Duration: Ongoing
Availability: Full-time role with flexible availability from 1 to 5 weekdays, with a preference for Wednesdays to Fridays. Home visits to Epsom may be required at times.

What you will do:
- Manage acute paediatric Speech and Language Therapy caseloads, providing essential care to our young patients.
- Assess and treat neonates, infants, children, and young people, focusing on both feeding and communication difficulties.
- Deliver specialist assessment and intervention for feeding, swallowing, and communication difficulties, applying your expertise within acute hospital settings.
- Independently manage neonatal caseloads, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Undertake dysphagia assessments and treatment planning with a keen eye for detail.
- Liaise closely with families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, supporting discharge planning and care pathways seamlessly.
- Complete clinical documentation and prepare detailed reports that reflect the care provided.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions, offering your insights and expertise.
