What you will do:

Provide strategic and professional leadership across pharmacy services and medicines governance throughout NHS Western Isles.
Act as the Board's Chief Pharmacist, providing expert advice on medicines, pharmaceutical services, and related clinical matters.
Lead the development and implementation of the pharmaceutical care strategy in line with national standards, legislation, and best practice.
Ensure compliance with medicines-related regulations and lead initiatives designed to improve medication safety and quality.
Drive digital medicines programmes, including the adoption, optimisation, and effective use of ePrescribing and HEPMA systems.
Manage pharmacy budgets, resources, and procurement effectively while maintaining strong governance arrangements.
Develop an innovative, compassionate, and high-performing pharmacy workforce focused on clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated and efficient pharmaceutical services.
Promote a culture of quality improvement, innovation, patient safety, and professional accountability across the pharmacy service.
