What you will do:

  • Conduct initial assessments of children and young people referred to CAMHS, identifying their mental health needs and appropriate support.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop and review person-centred care plans in partnership with young people, families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, healthcare professionals, and wider agencies to coordinate effective care.
  • Monitor progress and respond appropriately to changes in presentation, risk, or care needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
