What you will do:

  • Provide senior clinical input within the Community Mental Health Team, delivering high-quality assessments, interventions, and care planning.
  • Offer clinical advice, consultation, and professional challenge to Band 6 practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as Named Worker for an agreed caseload, developing personalised care plans and overseeing effective care coordination.
  • Chair or contribute to multidisciplinary discussions, daily huddles, complex case reviews, and clinical decision-making.
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to Band 6 practitioners and student staff.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, local authority colleagues, crisis services, and other partner agencies to promote effective care pathways.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, including audits, quality assurance, risk management, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and maintain high standards of clinical care across the service.
