Dental Therapist in Newport, West Midlands

We are recruiting for an Dental Therapist to join Newport Dental Practice, a well-established mixed NHS and Private dental practice. This opportunity is available on a permanent basis, offering 2 to 3 days per week with excellent private earning potential and flexibility to suit your commitments.

This role is suitable for an Dental Therapist seeking a stable, supportive practice with opportunities to grow both NHS and private income.

You will need to be registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist, experience working direct access, have UK work experience as a Dental Therapist, and have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Working as a Dental Therapist offers you:

• 2 to 3 days per week (flexible to suit your schedule)
• Practice hours 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility available)
• Working on wither a hourly basis or a UDA rate.
• Mixed NHS and Private role
• Supportive and experienced team

Required Skills & Experience for this Dental Therapist role:

• Fully qualified and GDC registered Dental Therapist
• Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Proven UK experience delivering NHS dentistry
• Confidence working in a mixed practice environment
• Commitment to high clinical standards and patient care

As a Dental Therapist, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering high-quality NHS dental treatments within the scope of a Dental Therapist
• Managing and maintaining a consistent clinical diary
• Providing excellent patient care and communication
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
• Working collaboratively with dental nurses and wider practice staff
• Adhering to NHS guidelines, CQC standards and clinical governance

Practice hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, offering a structured working day with flexibility to support childcare and personal commitments.
