Dental Therapist / Dental Hygienist – Birmingham & Solihull | Ad Hoc Shifts | NHS, Private & Mixed Practices | £40–£45 per Hour

Flourish Medical is recruiting GDC-registered Dental Therapists and Dental Hygienists to join our network of dental professionals providing ad hoc cover across Birmingham, Solihull, and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking flexible work that fits around existing commitments. Shifts are available across a variety of NHS, private, and mixed dental practices, covering annual leave, sickness, increased patient demand, and short-notice absences.

You will have the flexibility to choose assignments that suit your availability while gaining access to a range of high-quality practices throughout the region.

Please note: You must be registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist, have UK-based clinical experience, and have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified and GDC-registered Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist
• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• UK clinical experience essential
• Confidence working independently and adapting to different practice environments
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and compliance

As a Dental Therapist / Dental Hygienist, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering high-quality hygiene and periodontal treatments
• Providing preventive oral health advice and patient education
• Carrying out Dental Therapist duties within your scope of practice where applicable
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
• Working collaboratively with dentists, dental nurses, and practice teams
• Adhering to GDC standards, CQC requirements, and infection control protocols
• Delivering an excellent patient experience at every appointment

Assignments are available throughout Birmingham and Solihull, with opportunities in areas including Sutton Coldfield, Edgbaston, Harborne, Moseley, Kings Heath, Shirley, Knowle, Olton, Acocks Green, Yardley, and surrounding locations.
