What you will do:
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery, ensuring it is ready before, during, and after patient treatments.
- Assist the dentist effectively across an array of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and the fitting of crowns.
- Ensure all instruments and materials are prepared, sterilised, and decontaminated according to HTM 01-05 guidelines.
- Record and update clinical notes of patients meticulously to maintain accurate health records.
- Take and process dental radiographs if you are qualified and trained, providing an extra layer of support to your dentist.
- Offer reassurance and support to patients in the dental chair, ensuring a comfortable experience.
