What you will do:
- Deputise for the Registered Care Manager, ensuring seamless management decision-making in their absence.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise records in compliance with health and social care regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of support staff through appraisals, performance management, and supervision to optimise team performance.
- Coach and mentor staff, promoting their professional development and enhancing care delivery standards.
- Oversee financial management aspects, ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring the safety of all residents, staff, and visitors.
- Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders during inspections and service evaluations.
- Ensure effective rostering and staffing to maintain quality care provision.
- Be actively involved in direct care and support duties, dedicating at least 10 percent of your time each month.
