What you will do:

• Strategically lead, develop, and implement a high-quality clinical pharmacy service within the Medicine division.
• Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for pharmacy services, leveraging the diverse skills of the wider pharmacy team.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote safe and effective drug use, providing guidance on new drugs.
• Deliver advanced clinical services to patients in areas such as Emergency and Acute Medicine, Medical Specialties, Care of Older People, and Frailty.
• Lead and manage the pharmacy clinical team, ensuring service delivery aligns with business planning requirements.
• Develop and deliver training for pharmacy and other staff groups in the specialist clinical area.
• Promote and support audit and research, incorporating Quality Improvement (QI) methodology where possible.
