What you will do

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards.
• Ensure optimal medication management through medicines optimisation and patient reviews.
• Support admissions processes, manage medicine supplies, and handle To Take Away medicines (TTAs) where required.
• Deliver clinical support across Older People's Services and contribute to operational efficiency.
• Oversee pharmacy staff, manage rotas, and provide professional supervision and support.
• Play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and implementing pharmacy policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate actively in EPMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration) rollouts and technological developments.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement projects, and governance initiatives, supporting CQC compliance.
• Provide clinical supervision and competency assessments for clinical pharmacists.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and pharmacy leadership to deliver integrated, high-quality healthcare services.
