What you will do:

Undertake statutory safeguarding enquiries and investigations in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and local multi-agency safeguarding procedures.
Complete strengths-based assessments, risk assessments, support planning, and reviews for adults with care and support needs.
Apply the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal to achieve outcomes identified by adults at risk and their carers.
Work collaboratively with health professionals, police, housing services, legal teams, and voluntary sector partners to coordinate safeguarding responses.
Provide professional advice and guidance on safeguarding matters to colleagues, partner organisations, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
Registered with Social Work England.
Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to adult safeguarding practice.
Post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.
Experience managing safeguarding cases involving vulnerable adults and complex risk.
Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environments.
