What you will do:

• Assess, manage, and treat adults with various dysphagia presentations, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Provide expert advice and training to junior staff and students, enhancing team capability.
• Work independently to manage complex cases, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

As a Speech and Language Therapist in the Acute Dysphagia Team, you will need essential experience working with adult patients in an inpatient acute hospital setting and possess the ability to independently manage complex dysphagia presentations. While NHS experience is desirable, your passion and expertise will be key to success in this maternity cover role.
