What you will do:

  • Lead the occupational therapy provision within the adult autism service, advocating for best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Drive the development and management of the pre-diagnostic and post-diagnostic service, ensuring robust support for service users.
  • Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions, with a particular focus on sensory needs and their impact.
  • Assist clients in developing new skills and strategies through comprehensive occupational therapy assessments of function, occupation, sensory processing, and executive functioning.
  • Provide expert consultation and liaison services to professionals working with autistic individuals.
  • Be an effective and collaborative member of the multi-disciplinary team.


Requirements:
Applicants should be HCPC registered and ideally have at least two years of experience in the relevant specialism. A driving licence is highly preferable, as it facilitates working across multiple sites.
