What you will do:
- Provide specialist assessment and recommendations to children undergoing the process of applying for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Collaborate closely with Local Authority case Coordinators.
- Autonomously manage a caseload of children with special educational needs, offering advice and input within their EHCP.
- Support and advise teaching professionals, parents, and carers in managing complex cases effectively.
- Represent children and families in tribunal cases with specialist knowledge.
- Work alongside the Tribunals manager for the local authority in mediation cases.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior team members, helping them grow their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Must be HCPC registered.
- Possessing a driving licence and having access to a car is advantageous to meet the needs of the role.
