What you will do:

Undertake specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop evidence-based treatment programmes for children and young people with complex needs
Deliver interventions across community clinics, schools, nurseries, and home environments, promoting functional development and independence
Provide specialist advice regarding mobility, posture management, orthotics, equipment, and physical handling programmes
Work collaboratively with paediatricians, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, education professionals, and families to deliver integrated care plans
Contribute to safeguarding processes, Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments, and multidisciplinary reviews where required

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
Evidence of postgraduate training relevant to paediatric physiotherapy practice
Evidence of continuing professional development in community paediatrics

Registration & Compliance:

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) desirable
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, clinical governance, and paediatric rehabilitation frameworks
Understanding of SEND legislation and Education, Health and Care Plan EHCP processes
