What you will do:

  • Complete thorough risk assessments for service users to minimise risks.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions and treatments for individuals with mental health diagnoses.

  • Evaluate and support the psychological, physical, spiritual, and occupational needs of service users and their families.

  • Assess capacity to provide safe care for those who may lack capacity.

  • Continuously evaluate and adapt care plans in response to patients’ changing conditions.

  • Attend high-risk or crisis situations to offer vital management advice and clinical intervention.

  • Prioritise health issues and initiate effective emergency care when necessary.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, evaluating and recommending care improvements.

  • Work collaboratively with service users to ensure adherence to prescribed interventions.

  • Promote evidence-based care strategies for mental health conditions.

  • Encourage recovery strategies that advocate for wellbeing, independence, and self-care.

  • Involve families in the care process, ensuring their needs and rights are respected and supported.

  • Engage in planning and implementing community health programmes.
