What you will do

  • Conduct and lead autism assessments for children and young people using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), ensuring comprehensive evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the MDT to develop and agree on diagnoses and recommendations.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to children, young people, and their families throughout the assessment process.
  • Utilise your HCPC registration and extensive experience to contribute effectively to the ADOS Team's objectives.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification

  • Essential: ADOS trained.
  • Essential: HCPC registration.
  • Essential: Experience conducting comprehensive autism assessments for children and young people.
  • Essential: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Essential: Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
