What you will do
• Clinical Assessment: Assess and treat children and young people presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal and physical conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Caseload Management: Manage and prioritise your own caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of care.
• Family Engagement: Work closely with children, young people, parents, carers, and families to support positive outcomes.
• Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with professionals across Health, Education, and Social Services to ensure coordinated care.
• Communication Support: Adapt communication approaches to meet the needs of children and families where English is an additional language.
• Service Development: Participate in service planning, development activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Professional Meetings: Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and clinical reviews.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with HCPC and organisational standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
• Physiotherapy Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Paediatric Experience: Previous experience working with children and young people within physiotherapy services.
• MSK Knowledge: Experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Organisational Skills: Strong caseload management and prioritisation skills.
• Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence is essential due to travel requirements within the role.
