What you will do

• Lead a team of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) in conducting daily phlebotomy sessions.
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are meticulously followed throughout each shift.
• Manage clinic operations, ensuring staff compliance with PPE and procedural requirements.
• Oversee stock levels, making necessary order requests and escalating needs to Service Managers.
• Report incidents via the in-phase system and act as the point of contact for operational and clinical issues.
• Perform venepuncture as needed to remedy failed blood collection attempts.
• Maintain unit cleanliness to meet clinical standards.
• Conduct daily audits to ensure ongoing service excellence.

Important requirements

• Venepuncture certification: Current valid certificate in venepuncture, cannulation, or blood drawing is essential.
• DBS certificate: Must provide a DBS certificate along with your CV for role consideration.
• Driving licence: Drivers must be over 25 with a clean licence and be prepared to drive the mobile unit following induction.

Shift Pattern

• Monday – Friday: 07:50 – 18:10
• Sunday: 10:50 – 15:55
